Latesha is a Richmond native who has lived in various parts of the state of Virginia since beginning her career. Latesha is a 1998 graduate of Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia where she graduated with her BA in Sociology and Social Work with a minor in Human Services. Following graduation from Mary Baldwin, Latesha continued on her education to pursue her Master of Social Work which she did in 2005 from Virginia Commonwealth University. Latesha is now a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Latesha has worked in the adult and juvenile criminal justice field, a variety of clinical capacities to include community based services, crisis stabilization, case management and social services. Latesha is also experienced in providing outpatient therapy services. The wealth of experience Latesha has experienced the opportunity to gain throughout her career she is well versed in working with all populations regardless of race, gender, socioeconomic status, religious belief, etc in a non judgmental manner fostering a comfortable, open, safe environment for patients to address their mental health needs.
